I love all the green I'm seeing in the spring! Had my son hold up my newly finished 50X70 quilt using mostly Patty Young fabrics. It was a tad windy, but looked great! More photos on my flickr site with matching valance.
I love this quilt and would like to know how you get that random patchwork look. Is it a pattern that you use? I am working on my first quilt a 'Turning Twenty' pattern. Thanks, Wendy <><
I really just randomly place rectangles & squares that are 4.5, 6.5 & 8.5" in a pleasing pattern on my floor and then sew them up. I measure how long & wide I want it to be and work towards that size. It is truely random!
