Inspiring Nursery

This gorgeous nursery design is courtesy of Lindsi who ordered her crib bedding from me~ you will recognize the ruffled crib skirt from a previous post! I thought her nursery was so gorgeous, so I asked if I could share the photos with you all. Originally she showed me the bird pictures that are above the crib~ she went in a totally different direction than I thought, and I love it!! That dark plum wall really sets everything off and I love the contrast with that and the bedding. That plum is in small amounts in the Love fabrics by Amy Butler & it just comes to life. Enjoy!!

Thank you everybody! I had tons of fun gathering ideas and watching it all come together. Monique did a FANTASTIC job on the bedding. It was the last piece of the puzzle I was missing--as soon as I added it to the room it instantly enhanced the look and feel. The bird prints are from Pier 1 Imports. I saw them in their mailer that came in January and I immediately went to get them (even though we didn't know what we were having--I kept the receipt.) The dresser was $50 from Craigslist and my husband and I dove headfirst into our first refinishing project. I wanted a room that made me smile when I entered it and I think we got the job done! And just to think, we are smiling and she isn't even here yet!

Love the plum wall and yes...Monique did a SUPER job on the bedding.

It would be very nice to have some pics of this room entered in my baby nursery pictures contest so that other moms could be inspired by your nursery ideas!
