The Best of Sis Boom Bedding

I was thrilled when I was asked to create this set as it has all of my favorite Jennifer P fabrics in it that span a wide range of her fabric lines! I am A L M O S T  O U T of the Elizabeth Rose fabric, my fav fav! I am actually working on making a Lucy Halter top with it as I realize when it's gone, it's gone and I want to wear it. I will review that when it's done. I hope Tiffany enjoys her set!

Ready to Ship!

Every once in a great while~ well, this is only the 2nd time in 3 years~ I make a bumper that is ready to ship. When I first got the Loulouthi fabric I was wowed by the Summer Totem & Clippings prints and so I was excited to pull fabrics for a patchwork bumper to coordinate with those prints. I used prints from Jennifer Paganelli, Tula Pink, Josephine Kimberling, Khristian Howell, Amy Butler, Annette Tatum & Robert Kaufman. I've been working on this since Loulouthi came out~ was it last summer?? Anyway, I'm excited to put it in my shop, so if you want instant gratification rather than wait the 8 weeks it usually takes, head on over to my shop!

Another Gorgeous Nursery!

Take a look at the nursery that Carey put together for her daughter. I had the privilege of making the patchwork bumper and patchwork changing pad cover, skirt and blanket for the nursery. Here is the bumper separately
It is one of my favorite color combinations! Carey did such a great job with the details! I love the changing table/dresser with the artwork. I love how several of the details from the fabrics are combined to create one of a kind artwork that mimics the patchwork in the bumper. The tree is just a stunning setting for the crib and I love the crystal chandelier. All beautiful details. I absolutely love seeing things I make in their home setting. It's like everything comes alive!! Enjoy!

Patchwork Crib Bumper

I had the pleasure of working with this fun color combination of plum, turquoise & tangerine. Tegan chose mostly Joel Dewberry fabrics from his newest Heirloom collection as well as Aviary 2 & Modern Meadow. Jennifer Paganelli's West Indies Chandler in brandy was a great match for the plums in the Damask, Crosshatch Dots (Hoodie)  & Patricia Bravo's Moroccan Nights (zig zag stitch fabric). A great group of patterns to capture a baby's attention! I also made a patchwork and minky blanket and a skirt, pics of those are on my flickr page.

Art Journal Crib Bumper

So thrilled to have finished this patchwork crib bumper using a combination of Bari J's Art Journal fabrics and Joel Dewberry's Modern Meadow and Ginseng fabrics. I used Nufoam bumper inserts instead of stuffing. I love how it looks tailored & thin. Heidi is doing a bird themed nursery and has picked out some amazing accessories. I still need to finish the crib skirt and sheets, so I'd better get sewing!

Love Patchwork Bumper

Just finished this bumper for Lauren. I love the happy, summery colors found in Amy Butler's Love fabrics. I used the Bliss Bouquet in teal for the crib skirt. I really enjoy using patchwork for all applications! I like seeing all the colors meld and add interest when its all mixed up. There is always something to look at.

Patchwork Crib Bumper

I am super excited to make this patchwork crib bumper for Alyssa! She liked the blanket I made for Alexis, so we adopted that color palette omitting obvious florals for this gender neutral set. We added the paisley per her husbands request for some bandana fabric. I found the Moda paisley fabric that had the perfect melon/ steel blue combo to go with the others. We also added Sandi Henderson's Henna Garden in melon to up the orange factor. I laid out my measuring tape & kept adding patches until I reached 164" for a total finished size of 160". So far, so good! :)

Thanks for visiting!
