Really enjoyed making this for my sister in law's bday. I found the cooking scripture~ it comes in a panel & you cut it out from http://shabbyfabrics.com. Used Amy Butler's pattern from her book, In Stitches. I learned lots of new things. All the seams are enclosed so when you wash it, it won't fray. It really has a professional looking finish to it. I also embellished a dish towel with the stripe fabric. The blue damask is from Dena's Leannika fabric line and the rest is Nicey Jane from Heather Bailey. Sheri just changed her kitchen recently to aqua and so I'm going with that color for her. Hope she likes it!

What an adorable apron, especially with that particular scripture on it. I am sure the towel must be so cute too. :o)

Cute apron! And I think that particular scripture might need to find its way to my kitchen wall one day...
Hi Monique! So glad you stopped by my blog today so I could see your beautiful apron! I love it! There are so many things we can do with the scripture fabric. I'm thinking of buying a bunch because you never know when it's not going to be available anymore. Have a great day!
