Flea Market Fancy!!!

For those of you who have read my blog before, you may remember how I love to post my favorite fabric combinations with the newest fabric line that came out. This is my very first Flea Market Fancy and I'd say I love the Bouquet print the most, I'm a floral person, can never have enough!! The coordinates were fun to choose. I love the retro~vintage~vibe. Great for crib bedding, quilts, purses, etc. My favorite is either the top picture or the one below it. Do you have a favorite combo?? I'd love to know. :)

Flea Market Fancy Bag

Yesterday I got my Flea Market Fancy fabric in, super excited as I've never owned any and have always loved the Bouquet fabric! I went shopping with my daughter at Target and found these sparkly Converse in the clearance section and snapped them up! Today we are going to Manhattan Beach, so I thought I'd make a quick bag to match the shoes & thought of my new fabric! I used Tanya Whelan's Practical Bag pattern as its super fast, no interfacing! I added 2 inside pockets and am super happy with the outcome! The inside is a Rober Kaufman damask~ I think it's from the Pimatex Basics line. I'm off to have fun today!!

Joann's Score

I had to get some supplies at Joann Fabric today and of course had to see if they had any of the DS quilts fabric line from Denyse Schmidt. They did, but I only had 2 coupons, so I bought the dots. Love 'em!! Holly found the floral on sale from a line called 'Garden Party'~ its totally her right now, so we will be making something for her with it. We bought all that they had left~ 1.25 yards on sale for $4.50/yd. All the fabrics have a wonderful feel to them! Holly found the pincushion, too. She was excited to show it to me and I paused for about 2 seconds & said, "Its Meadowsweet!!! Put it in the cart for $7.50!!!" The little cushion lifts up for storage, its completely adorable and was so necessary. A girl can't have too many cute pincushions. :) They also had it in Poppy Parade in Loden but the Vintage Paisley matched my sewing room better.

Thanks for visiting!
