I am really loving the spray baster, 505 Spray & Fix which temporarily holds the quilt layers together. I just put towels around the quilt to catch the overspray & reuse the towels a few times before throwing them in the wash. It doesn't gum up the needle & keeps the layers smooth & intact. I can't wait to quilt this one with fabrics from Jennifer Paganelli & Tanya Whelan!

Oh I have seen a quilter use Spray Baster. But it was her first time using it so it was not a seller for me. LOL! Do you think it would work well on hand quilting as far as quilting through it and sticking together long enough? I am a machine piecer, hand quilter. I usually pin baste. Glad you posted about this product. I had forgotten about it! Oh and gorgeous quilt by the way. I love your fabric selection. Of course right?? LOL!
What a beautiful quilt, I love the happy colors! I have not tried the spray baster, very interesting concept. I like that you won't get stuck by a pin or end up pulling one out of a doggie's paw!
Monique, so do you use this instead of pinning? Can it be true??????
