Ruffled!

Just finished a custom order for a Bliss Bouquet crib bumper and I attempted the ruffled skirt. It took much longer than I had planned and in the end I added one more ruffle (really!) of Cypress Paisley in lime because it came out too short. My ruffling foot got a work out and actually pooped out at one point, but Handy Husband was able to fix it, thank goodness! I was sweating at the thought of doing the running stitches/pulling for gathers on this one! It truly looks like a ball gown fit for a princess baby!!

So beautiful! I was looking at this on flickr earler and I was like, hrm, why hadn't I seen this on the blog. Duh, here it is! :-) It's pretty amazing! I love the ruffles. I got a ruffler foot at the beginning of the year but have yet to use it. :-P
